Web directories are a great way to market your website, but I'd recommend checking out article directories where you can submit free articles about your website, product or service.

I'm not sure why the downturn in the magazine publishing industry is any different from the recessionary challenges seen across any number of industries during the past several years. Sure, the industry has had its troubles, like many others, and digital alternatives to printed media will continue to evolve. It's no secret that recessions are bad for business, so why the panic? Cycles come and go. And I have yet to hear a compelling argument for the notion that digital magazines will surely replace their printed predecessors. Print is here to stay. Will it change and adapt? Certainly. But let's all take a breather from the "print is dead" hype.
