We are proud to formally announce that Press Publisher 4.0 will be released on Monday, June 1, 2009. Yes, this coming Monday!

This is going to be a huge undertaking and we greatly appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we make this transition.

We are still finalizing the specific details to make sure there is no interruption of your service and everything is smooth and transitioned properly.  For those of you who have modified your templates (NOT the stylesheets, but the specific templates that make up the system) there are a couple of details you will need to understand.

1.  We will be migrating over your CSS Stylesheet which is compatible with the new system HTML.

2.  If you have not made any changes to the templates, you are worry free.

3.  If you HAVE made changes to your templates, there are going to be some things that don’t look right.  BUT THAT IS FINE.  No need to worry.  We are NOT migrating the templates (they are not compatible).  We will have to update them by hand to match your old one.

4.  All sites on the system will be migrated to a “Staging” location for you to review.

5.  If your site DOES NOT look right, please send an email to support@presspublisher.com for us to review.  WE WILL MAKE THE CHANGES FOR YOU.

6.  If we do not hear from you by Wednesday, June 3, 2009, we will assume your site design is fine and the migration will unfold.

PLEASE NOTE: The content of your website will not be effected and at no time will your website go down.

By no later than Friday, June 5, 2009 the entire process will be complete.  We are not certain if you will be able to modify the live site during this time.  We are trying to make provisions to allow you to continue as usual.  HOWEVER, you will certainly NOT be able to edit your live templates during this week.

What’s Next?

You will be getting an email from us with details of how to access your Staging website for you to review.  Review the site and get back to us if there is a problem.  That’s it.
